  • Managing and administering base pay, annual bonus, and stock planning programs. Created VBA scripts and Access databases which aid in the processing of recommendations submitted throughout planning cycles.
  • Create reports and summaries for quarterly board meetings. Prepare annual peer group proxy analysis to compare competitive executive pay.
  • Prepare ad hoc reports from payroll system to aid department heads/regional presidents in analyzing pay strategy.
  • Aid in the consolidation of Compensation, HR, and Benefits processes through two company mergers and acquisitions. Assisted in the calculation and coordination of severance planning and retention payments.

Payroll Tax Analyst

  • Prepare biweekly/monthly multi-state ACH tax deposits for regular payrolls and special payments (stock vestings, bonus payments, etc.).
  • Setup and maintain federal/state withholding and unemployment insurance accounts.
  • Led and developed automation in Excel for recording tax deposits made for quarterly reconciliation.
  • Prepare quarter-end and year-end tax filings (941/940s, multi-state tax filings).
  • Print annual W-2's and respond to employee requests year round.
  • Process voluntary deductions, garnishments, tax levies, etc.
  • Record tax deposits into JD Edwards accounting software.
